Late, late, late as ever, but then it wouldn’t be us if it weren’t late. gid:   The hardest-working bands of 2010 Full story and press release on our blog We’ve taken a long, hard look at our data and rounded up a list of the hardest-working bands of 2010, based on their number of tour dates last year. It’s pretty astonishing. The band with the most tour dates, Mayday Parade, had a whopping 194 shows in 2010. That’s about one concert every other day! Meanwhile, Vampire Weekend travelled two-thirds of the way to the moon across all their tour dates. We were mostly surprised by the diversity of this list. It’s clear that artists of all kinds touring heavily, from hip-hop star B.o.B, to country legend Willie Nelson, to indie newbies Beach House, and metal gods Megadeth, there’s a huge spread in genres and maturity of careers. We’ve taken a long, hard look at our data and rounded up a list of the hardest-working bands of 2010, based on their number of tour dates last year. It’s pretty astonishing. The band with the most tour dates, Mayday Parade, had a whopping 194 shows in 2010. That’s about one concert every other day! Meanwhile, Vampire Weekend travelled two-thirds of the way to the moon across all their tour dates.

We were mostly surprised by the diversity of this list.
